Richard Ekelman

Richard has recently become the 1st SD Master trainer accredited by the Service Design Network. This course is the first accredited SD certificate program offered in the United States.

Professionally, Richard has worked as service designer both internally and externally. Over course of his career he realized the importance of accessible service design training. Rich has helped teams and individuals build their own capacities.

Richard holds a B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University and an M.F.A in Service Design. He has also served 4.5 years in the United States Navy.

Capstone Requirements

Each participant will be required to attend both phases of the program and complete the capstone project to earn our service design certificate. Your capstone project will afford each student an opportunity design an end-to-end service project. The capstone can be a live project from work with prior approval by the instructor.
